I’m Ava, the girl behind the camera, and I’m SO glad you’re here.

Photography has always felt like more than just taking pretty pictures to me. I love the way a photograph can bring you right back to a moment, the way you felt, the people you were with, and all of the little details you might otherwise forget. That’s what I want my work to do: preserve the feeling of a season of your life in a way that feels honest, timeless, and completely YOU.

My approach is a mix of intentional direction and letting things unfold naturally. I’ll help you know what to do in front of the camera, but I never want your photos to feel overly posed or like you’re trying to be someone you’re not. I want you to laugh, move, interact, and actually enjoy the experience. Some of my favorite images are the ones that happen in between the moments we planned.

Whether I’m photographing a wedding day, a couple, a milestone, or simply a season of life worth remembering, I want the experience to feel just as meaningful as the photographs themselves.

My goal is for you to leave feeling like you had fun, felt completely comfortable, and got to be yourself. And when I’m not behind the camera, I’m probably spending time with my cousins and friends, finding somewhere to shop, reorganizing something that definitely did not need to be reorganized, or having a cozy day at home. I’m a big fan of all the little things, and I think that probably explains a lot about why I love photography so much.
